Dp Dermaceuticals can also be beneficially used during periods when you are not undergoing treatment. The products contain powerful, active ingredients for treating signs of ageing, sun damage, uneven skin tone, and redness.

For a Dermapen treatment to be effective, it's crucial that your skin is in a healthy and unblemished state. To achieve the best possible outcome, we advise using personalised Dp Dermaceuticals products for 2-3 weeks prior to your treatment.
2 / DURING
The Dermapen treatment involves a smooth gliding action across the skin, simultaneously delivering customised active ingredients. The process uses a single-use needle cartridge containing 16 needles, which puncture the skin 1920 times every second. This needle can be adjusted to depths between 0.2 mm and 2.5 mm, tailored to the specific area being treated and the intended results of the therapy.

Post-treatment, your skin may feel warm and show a light to moderate redness, which typically fades within a day. It's normal to experience sensations akin to sunburn, along with tightness, soreness, and dryness of the skin. Flaking may occur in some cases in the days following the procedure, but this is a temporary and natural reaction.

For the first 24 hours, it's best to avoid exercising, applying active skincare products such as retinol, or wearing makeup, especially products not recommended by your therapist. For the initial 14 days post-treatment, we strongly advise against sun exposure and recommend the consistent use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 50.
